Shelley and Dave

We are Dave and Shelley Koenings, pictured with our Lab/Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix, Jinx, and our new puppy, Cayman, who we received from Fluffy Dog Rescue. We were donating our grooming services during one of the rescue’s transports of 44 dogs from Alabama, and our son and daughter fell in love with him. Like Jinx, he is a mixed breed. We think he is a lab/terrier mix, but we’ll have to wait and see as he grows.

We established Portable Pet Groomers, LLC in 2007 because we understand the value of convenience and we love animals. We have two main goals: 1) to give you an easy, hassle-free way to keep your furriest family member clean and happy, and 2) to give your loyal companions an enjoyable experience where they are the groomer’s only focus from start to finish. That means no other animals, no phone calls, no interruptions and no other responsibilities except to pamper your pets.

We look forward to partnering with you to keep your pets looking and feeling their best. Please feel free to contact us if you have any comments, questions or suggestions for improvement. We want to make this the best experience possible for you and your pets.

Thank you for allowing us to be at your service, at your home.

Sareena

I’m Sareena, and this is my black lab, Lucy, my Great Pyrenees, Molly, and my cat, Rumble. Besides being a groomer, I am a wife, a mother of four boys and I own a horse boarding stable. I share my life with animals because I believe they give to us in so many ways. I also think many times animals don’t get enough credit for the value they bring to our lives. That’s why I love being a groomer … it’s my way of thanking them for all the benefits we receive by having them in our lives. My favorite thing about grooming is seeing how your pets react with wiggles and excitement after being pampered. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets.

Dani

I'm Dani, and with me is my English Mastiff, Dieter, and my Teddy Bear, Stewie. I rescued Dieter when he was three years old from a puppy mill in Missouri. He was their main stud and was in very bad shape. I nursed him back to health and he is now a very happy pooch. I adopted Stewie from the Wisconsin Humane Society at nine months old. Their personalities definitely compliment each other, and I really enjoy watching them interact. We actually have had quite a zoo at our home, including a selection of snakes, birds, cats, fish, rabbits and even more dogs! I feel very fortunate to be part of the team at Portable Pet Groomers because we all share a passion for animals and their well being. Becoming a groomer is something I've always wanted to do. It's so rewarding because I can tell how happy the dogs and cats feel after being groomed, which, in turn, makes their owners happy. I look forward to the opportunity to treat you and your pets to a great experience.
